RE: how many times a day

I also often 'go' that many times, sometimes more, as well as having leakage problems. On the basis of what I've read, that could be considered a lot, but I'm not a medical person at all so I don't think you can go by what I say!
Whilst I don't restrict what I drink, I do find that if I have to drink more than normal for any reason, it has a big effect on the number of times I go. The other day I had to have a scan as part of the investigations into my incontinence, and my bladder had to be as full as possible for it, so I was told I had to drink a good bit in the hour or so beforehand. I had leakage before I was scanned, but fortunately I'd held on to enough that it was still okay for the scan. Afterwards, I had an accident before I could get to a toilet, had to go again about 5 minutes later before I left the hospital, and then for the rest of the day I didn't make it to the toilet at all (I can usually make it sometimes if I'm near to a bathroom) and went about twice as much as usual - things didn't seem to go back to normal until that night, all apparently because of that one hour in the morning, but it seems bizarre it would have that much effect!
