Grey's Anatomy

On Thursday a new episode of Grey's Anatomy featured Lexi (Little Grey) and then Christina wearing diapers during surgery. My wife was watching the show, she loves it, and when the scene came up she was excited because she felt it defended younger people who wear diapers.

There is a scene where Lexi yells at a co-worker for making her feel silly about wearing a diaper and she lashes out back at him (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AvCbzSNvlpA). My wife and I thought it was a pretty good episode and she suggested I post this topic. She ended the show by saying "I would rock a diaper if I needed to or it helped me get through my job".

Thoughts?

I'm sure many people need to wear a diaper at times--with nothing to do with incontinence. Wouldn't you think Grey's Anatomy got the script idea from real life? Television and movies have consultants for everything type of profession depicted. Think about doctors and nurses in surgery for hours and hours. I don't want my surgeon to have to leave to go to the bathroom. And, then all the scubbing in, and putting on clean scrubs. It's just something that's not talked about.

I think you are right SunAndMoon, it just isn't often talked about... and after that episode, I would think it will only increase. Maybe with the airlines charging for just about everything now, it could be an additional way for customers to save a little $$. lol

The episode surely brought to the forefront the real fact of life....If you have to go, you have to go, no matter where you are or what you are doing..Sometimes there really is no time to interrupt.Grey's Anatomy is a favorite of mine too.
